    1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how WITR Networks Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, tracking pixels and tags, on the WITR website at witr.info.

It should be read alongside the Privacy, AI Transparency and Responsible Use Statement and the Terms and Conditions.

The WITR event platform at witr.app uses its own cookies and similar technologies for signing in, running events and keeping accounts secure. Those are strictly necessary for the platform to operate.

    2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which stores a small amount of information in your browser, and pixels or tags, which are small pieces of code that report that a page or action has happened.

WITR also stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so that you are not asked again on every page.

    3. Your choice

When you first visit witr.info you are asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies before using the site. Accept and Reject are given equal prominence.

    • If you accept: analytics and advertising technologies are loaded, and Google Analytics consent signals are set to granted.
    • If you reject: analytics and advertising technologies are not loaded, Google Analytics consent signals remain denied, and only strictly necessary and security technologies are used.

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you using the website, booking an onboarding call, or contacting WITR.

WITR also records basic, non-identifying page and event information for its own reporting, such as page views, referring source and campaign parameters. Where this is not strictly necessary, it is only used in line with your cookie choice.

    5. Advertising measurement

WITR advertises on Meta and LinkedIn. Where you have accepted advertising cookies, those providers may receive information that you visited a WITR page or completed an action such as booking an onboarding call, so WITR can measure whether its advertising works.

WITR does not sell personal data, and does not share attendee event data with advertising providers.

    6. Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time by:

    • clearing cookies and site data for witr.info in your browser, which will bring the choice back on your next visit; or
    • using your browser settings to block or delete cookies; or
    • emailing info@witr.info and asking WITR to record your preference.

Most browsers also offer a do-not-track or tracking-protection setting, and browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for a specific site.

    7. Third-party policies

Third-party providers process information under their own privacy and cookie policies. The providers currently used are listed in the table above and in the sub-processor table in the Privacy Policy.

    8. Changes to this policy

WITR may update this policy as the website, its providers or the law change. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
