How WITR works
One QR code, no download, a live opt-in attendee list and AI Smart Connections that tell people who to speak to.
One QR code, unlimited intentional conversations
Set up in minutes. Share one link or QR code. Let WITR do the rest.
How WITR works
for Event organisers
attendees
Generate one QR code and share it on slides, screens, signage and badges. Or send the link before the event.
How WITR works
for Attendees
attendees
Attendees scan in, share why they're there, and see who's in the room and who they should meet.
WITR (Who's In The Room?) runs in the browser. An organiser creates an event and gets one QR code and link. Attendees scan it, opt in, and say why they are there. They then see a live attendee list and get AI Smart Connections suggesting who to speak to face to face, with a conversation starter. After the event, organisers get Impact Analytics showing what happened in the room.
- One QR code per event
- No app download for attendees
- Live, opt-in attendee list
- Attendees share why they are there
- AI Smart Connections with conversation starters
- Impact Analytics for organisers and sponsors
Step by step, from setup to follow-up
- The organiser creates the event and gets one QR code and link.
- The code goes on slides, screens, signage and badges, or the link goes out before the event.
- Attendees scan and opt in through their phone browser, with no app download.
- Attendees share why they are there and what they are looking for.
- The live attendee list shows who is in the room right now.
- AI Smart Connections suggest who to speak to, with a conversation starter.
- Impact Analytics summarise what happened for the organiser and sponsors.
What organisers get
- A networking layer for the event that takes minutes to set up.
- A live view of who has opted in.
- Impact Analytics to show the room worked, and to plan the next event.
- Sponsor placement inside the attendee experience.
What attendees get
- No download, no account hurdle. Scan and go.
- A clear picture of who else is in the room.
- Suggested people to meet, plus an opening line so the first sentence is easy.
- Full control: joining is opt-in and they choose what to share.
What sponsors get
Sponsors appear on attendees' phones during the event rather than only on a banner at the back of the room, and organisers can show evidence of that visibility afterwards. See event sponsor visibility for detail.
Before, during and after the event
- Before: create the event, print or place the QR code, and share the link with registered attendees.
- During: attendees scan in, the list fills up, and Smart Connections start suggesting conversations.
- After: review Impact Analytics and share the results with your team, your board or your sponsors.
What it costs
WITR is free for attendees. Organisers pay per event using WITR Credits: Basic events from £10, Pro events from £50 for up to 50 attendees, then £1 per additional attendee. Credits are valid for 12 months (365 days). See pricing for the full detail.
How it works FAQs
Do attendees need to download an app?+
No. WITR runs in the phone browser. Attendees scan the QR code and join straight away.
How long does setup take?+

Do attendees have to join?+
