Your account keeps a clear record of payments, event charges, additional attendees, refunds and adjustments.
Enter your expected attendee number when you create the event and pay for that event only. £50 for up to 50 attendees, then £1 for each additional attendee, up to 1,000.

Multi-day simple rules
Each attendee is charged once for each day they attend. £1 per attendee per day. Repeat scans on the same day don't cost extra.
- The attendee list runs across the whole event.
- Each unique attendee is charged once per day attended.
- Someone attending two days costs £2. Three days costs £3.
- Repeated same-day scans do not add another charge.
- The visible attendee list resets each event day.
- Capacity is set as "expected attendees per day".
- Total price is the daily attendee capacity multiplied by the number of days.
- Daily resets follow the event's configured local time zone.
Example: 60 attendees per day for two days costs £120. One person attending both days counts as two attendee days. Usage stays cumulative even though the visible list resets each day.
You stay in control, even when the room grows
When you create an event, you set an attendee allowance. WITR tracks opt-ins in real time. At 95% and 100% you (the organiser) get an in-event popup and an email. Available funds in your organiser wallet automatically cover additional attendees. Each threshold email is only sent once unless the allowance is later increased.

What's included?+
Every event starts at £50 and includes every WITR feature. £50 covers up to 50 attendees, then £1 per additional attendee up to 1,000.
How does payment work?+
Two ways. Pay per event when you create it, based on the number of attendees you enter, or top up your organiser wallet in advance and let events draw from the balance. Events are £50 for up to 50 attendees, then £1 for each additional attendee.
Can I add money to my organiser wallet in advance?+
Yes. You can top up your wallet from £1 at any time. When you create an event or add attendees, WITR uses the wallet balance automatically, so there is no new checkout each time.
Do I have to pre-pay into a wallet?+
No. Paying per event at the point of creation is completely fine. The wallet is there for organisers who prefer to hold a balance.
Can I set an annual or campaign budget for events?+
Yes. Many organisations top up the wallet once with an annual budget, or fund a specific campaign or series of events, then run events against that balance without raising a new payment each time.
Do unused wallet funds expire?+
Yes. Unused funds in your organiser wallet are valid for 12 months (365 days) from the date of purchase. Your account shows every payment, event charge, additional attendee charge, refund and adjustment.
Can I transfer unused wallet funds to another account?+
No. Funds are tied to the organiser account that purchased them and cannot be moved to another account.
How does pricing work for multi-day events?+
Each attendee is charged once for each day they attend. Someone attending two days costs £2. There is no multi-day discount. Repeat scans on the same day don't cost extra. If you turn on Daily Reset, the visible attendee list resets each day and capacity is set per day - 60 attendees per day over two days costs £120.
What happens if more people turn up than I planned for?+
Each additional attendee costs £1. If you have a wallet balance, WITR uses it automatically. Otherwise, you can top up from £1 and new attendees can join as soon as payment is confirmed.
What happens at 95% and 100% of my attendee allowance?+
At 95% and again at 100% you get an in-event popup and an email. Available wallet funds automatically cover additional attendees. If the event reaches 100% with an empty wallet, new opt-ins are paused until you top up.
Do attendees pay anything?+
No. Attendees are never charged and don't need an app - they scan a QR code and join instantly in their browser.
Can I pay in my local currency?+
Yes. Pricing is displayed in GBP, USD and EUR, and you can switch currency in the checkout session. The currency charged is the one you select at checkout.
Can I get my first event set up for free?+
Yes. Book a free onboarding call and we will set your first event up with you on a screen share. On the call we give you a code for Promotional WITR Attendee Credits covering your first 50 attendees. New customers only, one per organisation.
How do I use an affiliate code or save the credits for later?+
If you're a genuine new customer with an affiliate code, enter it at Stripe checkout on witr.app for 50 Promotional WITR Attendee Credits on your first qualifying WITR purchase. To save the value for later, choose Add £50 to wallet on witr.app and apply the code at checkout instead of paying for an event now. The code does not add credits to your wallet until checkout is completed. Affiliate Reward Codes are separate and must be used by the affiliate at checkout with the email they were issued to.
What if my event has more than 1,000 attendees?+
Standard events support up to 1,000 attendees. For larger events, contact us about an Enterprise option tailored to your requirements.
