After the event

How do I help attendees follow up after an event?

Make follow-up happen while the context is still fresh. Give attendees a way to revisit who was in the room and what they were looking for, straight after the event, and encourage them to act within a day or two. Contacts go cold quickly, and a name without context is rarely followed up at all.

Why do useful contacts get lost?

People meet someone interesting, promise to connect, then get home to an inbox of two hundred emails. By the time they remember, they cannot recall the surname, the company or what they talked about. Business cards help a little. A list of who was there, with what each person wanted, helps a lot more.

How long can attendees revisit people after the event?

WITR includes a 48-hour post-event access window. Attendees can go back to the list, see who was there and what they asked for, and follow up. Personal data is deleted 48 hours after the event, counted Monday to Friday only, leaving anonymised analytics. The window is deliberately short. It is long enough to be useful while memories are fresh and short enough that attendee-level data is not kept longer than it needs to be.

How quickly should attendees follow up?

Within a day or two is a good rule. The conversation is still remembered, the reason to talk still feels current, and the follow-up looks attentive rather than an afterthought. Tell attendees about the window at the end of the event so they use it.

What can organisers measure after the event?

    • Stated intent across the room
    • Engagement during the event
    • Connection activity
    • Sponsor visibility

    Frequently asked questions

How do attendees remember who they met?

They can revisit the attendee list, with each person's Ask and Offer, during the 48-hour post-event window.

Can attendees revisit people after the event?

Yes, for 48 hours after the event, counted Monday to Friday only.

Why is the window so short?

Privacy. It keeps personal data only for as long as it is useful, then leaves anonymised analytics for the organiser.

How do I measure networking follow-up?

Impact Analytics on Pro shows connection activity. Follow-up that happens outside WITR, by email or phone, is not something WITR can see.

Can the organiser keep an attendee list?

Pro includes a downloadable CSV attendee list. Organisers remain responsible for how they use it under their own privacy obligations.
